A visionary healer and tireless advocate, Dr. Hildegard Messenbaugh dedicated her life to transforming the futures of high-risk youth through the compassionate community she built at Third Way Center. Her profound legacy of "truth and justice" remains a guiding light for the countless lives she mended and the generations of healers she inspired. As stated by our Executive Director, Renee Johnson, "Hildegard wasn't just our Medical Director, she was our leader and teacher. It was her vision that made Third Way what it is today." She will be greatly missed by all.
